Margaret Good Flips Florida House District 72!

Our statement on the resignation and behavior of former Florida Democratic Party Chair Stephen Bittel:

“We strongly believe in upholding the value of respect for all people, regardless of race, national origin, age, gender, sex, disability, familial status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression. Sexual harassment is never acceptable, and we strongly condemn the inappropriate actions of former Florida Democratic Party Chair Stephen Bittel towards women. We must work to ensure there is permanent change in the culture, workplace or otherwise. We stand with the women who made the courageous decision to speak out and as a result move us all forward. As an organization, we look forward to the opportunity to work with a team with the integrity to uphold our values and lead our party to many victories in 2018.”

FYD Proud to Announce New Political Director

Meet Alexandria Ayala, our new Political Director!

Alexandria Ayala is a political consultant with a background in government affairs and local, state and national campaigns. She has a Political Science and Journalism Studies degree from the University of Central Florida. During her time at UCF, she worked on three state wide campaigns before managing the district office for now Orlando area State Senator, Victor Torres. During the 2016 election, she was a Finance Assistant on the Patrick Murphy for U.S. Senate campaign. Afterwards, she served as the Campaign Manager for Rachelle Litt for Palm Beach Gardens City Council. Currently, she is consulting on multiple local races for 2018.
