  • Deputy Political Director

    The Deputy Political Director shall be responsible for the cultivation and maintenance of issues-based relationships between the FYD and National, Statewide, and local elected officials and candidates. The Deputy Political Director shall manage the FYD's candidate engagement efforts, including outreach, vetting, and support programs. The Deputy Political Director shall execute the day-to-day political operations of the organization and report directly to the Political Director and President.

  • Policy Director

    The Policy Director shall be responsible for all legislative and policy development functions of the FYD. This includes serving as the primary liaison to the Florida Legislature and advocacy groups on policy matters, under the strategic direction of the Political Director. The Policy Director shall be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and enactment of the FYD Legislative Plan, and shall lead the organization’s research efforts into priority policy areas. The Policy Director shall also serve as the Chair of the Special Committee on Platform, responsible for creating and maintaining an official platform for FYD

  • Organizing Director

    The Organizing Director shall be responsible for all grassroots strategy, program execution, and volunteer development for the FYD. This includes designing and managing comprehensive organizing plans focused on maximizing youth voter registration, VBM enrollment, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts, utilizing both field and digital tactics. The Organizing Director shall establish clear, measurable metrics for all activities, oversee data integrity in systems such as VAN/VoteBuilder, and develop training programs for continuous volunteer recruitment and leadership coaching across the state. Furthermore, the Organizing Director shall build and maintain strong coalitions with allied organizations and labor unions, coordinate with County DECs, and ensure all organizing activities strictly adhere to state election compliance requirements.
